Fireside Expressions offers hand crafted, high quality products. We can customize the color of each fire bowl from a variety of earth-tones to match your décor, so that they truly are one of a kind. Remember to magnify the beauty of your feature by selecting fire glass or lava rock from our extensive collection. These exclusive decorations are non-toxic and safe to use! We even have a calculator to determine how much media you will need!

Here are a few more reasons why Fireside Expressions’ square concrete fire bowls are so popular:

  • Made in the USA!
  • Color is mixed into cement during pouring, so there is no need to “touch up” your fire bowl. Ever.
  • Durable enough to last for years – even in inclement weather.

The professionals at Fireside Expressions are here to answer your questions, and we are excited to hear any design specs you may have so that we can help make your dream layout a reality. Your local gas contractor can provide a helping hand for installing gas lines to your fire bowls. Please remember to visit our installation center for more information on diagrams, rough-ins, and downloadable manuals.

PLEASE NOTE: Fire glass can be used with natural gas burning features ONLY. Fireside Expressions is adamant about this for the safety of our valued customers.

  • Because propane is heavier than natural gas, it will sink to the bottom of your feature. Small pieces of fire glass will not allow propane to circulate, and this could can lead to explosion of this particular media. Even with larger fire glass pieces, there is still not enough room for the gas to dissipate from wind and other factors. Lava rock allows propane to dissipate and is the safest choice for propane features. (In addition, it is always a good idea to incorporate lava rock into the bottom portion of natural gas burning features.)

Fireside Expressions wants to make sure that your square fire bowls are the topic of discussion in your neighborhood! Remember that our concrete fire bowls are very heavy! Please call us at 1-888-986-1535 for the best shipping quote possible!

We recommend covering the burner with a layer of cinders/lava rock. These should be 1" diameter or larger. Glass should then be used as a topping over cinders/lava rock to approximately 2” in depth. This helps save material, money, and allows for safer operation.
