Manual Light Copper Tiki Torch for Outdoor Gas Installations
Downloads:
Bring warm flame and the distinctive character of copper to your outdoor living area with the Copper Cone Manual Light Gas Tiki Torch. The 16-gauge spun copper torch head pairs with a stainless steel base and operates with natural gas or liquid propane configurations. Its manual-light ignition system provides straightforward operation, while heat output reaches up to 25,000 BTUs.
Key Features: The spun copper construction gives this torch a naturally evolving appearance. As copper is exposed to outdoor conditions, it develops a patina that gradually darkens and can eventually take on blue-green tones. This oxidation is a normal characteristic of copper rather than a finish defect.
For a more contemporary installation, aluminum pole and deck-mount options are available with a black powder-coated finish designed to complement the torch assembly.
Important Information: Saltwater pools, ocean air, and other salty environments can significantly accelerate copper patina formation. Customers who want to maintain the original bright copper appearance should use an appropriate protective coating intended for copper and outdoor exposure.
Stainless steel components may also develop surface rust in saltwater environments as salt affects the material's protective oxide layer. According to the supplied product information, surface rust can be cleaned with a red Scotch-Brite pad to help restore the stainless steel appearance.
Review the available owner manual, pre-installation checklist, troubleshooting guide, and tiki torch pole information before installation.
FAQs:
Q: What fuel can the Copper Cone tiki torch use?
A: It is offered for natural gas or liquid propane configurations. Confirm the correct fuel configuration before ordering and installation.
Q: Does the copper stay bright over time?
A: No. Unprotected copper naturally oxidizes outdoors, gradually darkening and eventually developing a blue-green patina.
Q: Will saltwater affect the copper finish?
A: Yes. Saltwater pools, ocean air, and other salty environments can accelerate the natural patina process.
Q: How is this tiki torch ignited?
A: It uses a manual-light ignition system.
