Fire Pit Pans

Fire pit pans help reduce the cost of fire media needed for your fire pit or fire bowl. When using a fire media pan you only need to top off your features with 2-3 inches of ceramic stone or fire glass (compared to filling the entire bowl with lava rock or granules). There are multiple shapes to choose from. We offer round, square, and linear pans that come in different types of material like aluminum and stainless steel. With all these options, you are sure to find the pan that is perfect for your project!

Choose from two different styles:

  • Plate:
    • These flat fire pit pans are designed to be placed in your fire pit opening. You can use brick or any non-combustible material underneath to support your plate-style pan. These pans can also be inserted between the top two pavers of your DIY fire pit for a more permanent fixture. The diameter of your flat pan should be configured so that there is no space between the pan and the edge of your fire pit. This ensures that your media stays in place and does not fall to the bottom of your fire feature. This also gives the illusion that your fire pit is "full" of fire glass, when in reality, only the top portion is.
  • Bowl:
    • These pans are also designed to fit in the opening of your fire feature and must be supported, just like your plate style pan. They have a 2-inch high wall to help keep your fire pit media in place.
