Lava Fyre Granules from American Fyre Designs gives a natural look to your gas fire pit or fireplace. Natural insulating capabilities help the flames to burn in a more uniform manner. These smaller pieces of lava rock act as a filler around the burner and underneath gas logs and resemble the embers that you would see from a wood-burning fire. Their small size is ideal for a variety of different gas-burning features and comes in a 10-pound package!
Lava fyre granules for fire pits are sometimes used by our customers in place of wood chips and mulch. The porous composition of these granules helps to aerate the soil and maintain a healthy, well-balanced pH of the underlying earth. Please keep in mind that this type of lava rock is lightweight with air-filled micro-holes, so they WILL float on water! If you plan on using it for landscaping, please remember to place it in a contained area with good drainage.
